kendon’s accountants – awesome

Hat tip to Nat for helping us find Kendons Accountants.

They’re a bit of a trek out in Lower Hutt – especially for us urban dwellers who are sans vehicle – but it’s worth the bus ride. We spoke with Murray and Denisa, who quite generously gave us over an hour of their time!

They tick most of the boxes on our shopping list. Admittedly, they aren’t exactly starting out. But Murray has the cool in spades. He seems really interested in making sure we make money, rather than just comply with all the rules (they even have an entire shelf of free brouchures in their foyer “You and Your Profitiability” and its ilk). And Denisa is their resident Xero-guru (she’s even Mac-savvy!).

We’ll see how things work out over the next few months, but we’re hoping Kendons can help us stay profitiable (and, as a side effect, pay all our taxes properly). Thanks guys!
